About Me

When I was going through my divorce 20 years ago, I often wished I had my future self to talk to. My soon‑to‑be former husband and I had decided to sell the family home, and I found myself sitting with a realtor’s assistant to sign a lease on the rental where my four children and I would move. It was the first financial decision I had made on my own in a long time.

Our Primary Purpose

The choice made sense—the kids and I loved the new house—but it was still an emotional moment. Previously, I had someone to talk things through with; now, it was just me. And while every discussion with my soon-to-be former husband in that season seemed acrimonious, I realized what I was missing wasn’t necessarily agreement, but the reassurance of support.

In some ways, the independence was freeing, and I knew it was a good decision. Still, it marked the beginning of a new life full of solo choices—different, not bad, just new. As I signed the lease, I shared my feelings with the assistant, a woman in her seventies. She offered wisdom I’ll never forget: “It seems hard now, but it will get easier. You’ll grow more confident with each step. The pain you feel today is the start of healing.” It was exactly what I needed to hear. I walked out the door with the lease in hand.

Step one down…. three hundred more to go.

Divorce, widowhood, or singleness—whether chosen or unexpected—can be emotionally draining, and during these times you may be asked to make big financial decisions. My encouragement is simple: don’t make them alone. Build a healthy support network of people who have your back. I would be honored to apply for the role of being on your team—a safe place to talk through your financial fears, weigh the pros and cons of your options, and move forward with clarity.

No single strategy fits everyone, which is why every client receives my undivided attention—from planning to execution to follow‑up. I take a proactive approach to developing strategies that address your unique goals, considering tax consequences and drawing on diverse perspectives to help you feel supported and confident with every decision.

Education, Encouragement, and Empowerment are the hallmarks of my practice in helping women navigate life’s transitions of divorce, widowhood, and singleness—whether by choice or by circumstance.
